Robert Haywood MacLean, Kinross, PE - 54. It is with grieving
hearts that we announce the passing of Robert H. MacLean on September
30, 2015 at the Prince County Hospital as a result of injuries
sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born on April 12, 1961 in
Sherbrooke, QC, his family moved to PEI when he was 12 and he made the
Island his home. A loving husband, father, son and brother,
Robert lived for God and his family. He loved spending time
with his family, gardening, reading, and driving tractor trailer. He
will be lovingly remembered by wife Sheila (Anderson), son Lauchie
(Alyson) of Hinton, AB and daughter Lisa, at home. He is also survived
by his parents, Lawrence and Lois (Bergeron) MacLean of Montague, PE.
He also leaves behind siblings Kevan (Rena), Darlene (Kevin Byers),
Tim, and Bonnie (Stephen Young); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces
and great-nephews. Robert is also survived by his father in
law and mother in law, Wilson and Ellen (Munster) Anderson, North
Sydney, NS.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting
hours on Thursday, October 8
from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral
service will be held on Friday, October 9 at 2
pm from the funeral home chapel.
Donations in Robert's memory can be made to the Prince County
Hospital, Summerside, PE or the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences
Centre- Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS. A private family interment
will take place at a later date.
