Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Mary Jane Anstie (Nee MacGillivray) age 87, wife of the late Louis Anstie occurred on Friday, November 27, 2015 with family by her side. Born September 5, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Angus and Christina (Smith) MacGillivray. Mary is survived by her loving children Cyrilina (Larry) Campbell, Marlene (Reg) Peters, Debbie (Emmett) Campbell, George Anstie (Bus), Linda Anstie, Shellie Gallant; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; 2nd mother to numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Frances, Harriet, Hilda, Olive, Leona; brothers Roy, Emmett, Joe, Bernard and Elmer.  Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday, November 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Montague at 11:00 am. Interment to take place in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Cardigan. Donations to the Diabetes Association or the CNIB would be appreciated.
