Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, the passing of Francis M. MacDonald age 93, formerly of the 48 Road occurred on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Born in Little Pond on September 10, 1922 he was the son of the late John and Mary MacDonald. Francis is survived by brother Louis B., nieces & nephews James (Janet), Reggie, Damien (Lynn), Catherine (Gerard), Aeneas, Mary (Ron), Noreen.  He was predeceased by brothers and sisters Emily, Elizabeth, Allan, Rev. William, Walter and James (Killed in action in WW II) and John

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9pm.  Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, at 2 pm from All Saint’s Catholic Church, Cardigan. Interment to take place following the mass in the Parish Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations graciously accepted by the All Saints Parish Cemetery.
