Doug Edwards was born on August 12, 1943 in Souris, Manitoba and since 2000 called Murray River, PE his home with a 30 year stop in Barriere, BC.  He cashed in his chips on August 25, 2016 and leaves his wife Sandra and son Vaughn as well as special friends Keith and Kim MacDonald.  Doug lived his life by his own rules.  He was always community minded wherever he lived whether it be volunteering with the Camber of Commerce, Recreation Society, Minor Ball and especially fire departments.  Doug’s other interests included NASCAR, Music and he was a TV news junky and a great collector of stuff.  When Doug had an opinion about something he didn’t waste much time before he told you what it was but those that knew him knew he had a big and soft heart.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home.  No formal visitation or service however we ask when you feed the birds, think and give thanks for the life and gift of Dougie.
