The peaceful passing of James McKee Knox, age 84, of Montague, devoted husband of 52 years to Ethel (Nee: Kerr), occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 20, 2016.  Born in Valleyfield, PE on June 14, 1932 he was the son of William and Eliza (Fraser) Knox.  Beside his wife, James leaves with fond and loving memories daughter Sydney (Dale) Knox-Cudmore; siblings Thompson  Knox, Lily MacLean, Richard (Janet) Knox; grandchildren Martha, Zachary, Holly; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.  Along with his late parents James was predeceased by sister Isabelle, brother Robert, sister in law Lorna, nieces and nephews Maureen & Billy Hayes, John & Elwin MacLean, Mary Knox and precious grandson Sam in infancy.

James was a lifelong seaman & a veteran of the Korean War to which we say thanks for serving our home and native land.
               
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm. A celebration of James life will take place in the Ferguson Logan Chapel on Sunday, October 23 at 3:00 pm  with Interment to follow in Community Park Cemetery, Montague.  Donations to the Riverview Manor Resident Activity Fund or The Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
