Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital the passing of Michael J. MacCormack age 93 of Montague occurred on Sunday December 4, 2016  with his beloved wife Mae ( MacPhee) MacCormack of 71 years by his side. He was a veteran of  World War II, serving in the army. Michael is survived by his loving children Gregory (Anna) MacCormack and Gail (Ernie) Butler; cherished grandchildren Lisa (Tom) and Marie; adored great grandchildren Seamus, Ben and Charlie; one brother Victor MacCormack (Evelyn). He was predeceased by a son Daniel; sisters Mary Riorden and Catherine O’Rielly; brother Joseph.

By family request no visiting hours at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday 10:00 am, December 6 from St Mary’s Catholic Church Montague. Interment to take place in St. George’s Cemetery. Donations to the Right to Life or St. George’s Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
