For John Howlett will take place this Saturday, June 24, 2017 in the
Annandale Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Kings County
Memorial Hospital, Montague the passing of John "Johnnie"
Edwin Howlett occurred on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Born in
Annandale, PE on July 23, 1924 he was the son of the late Elby and
Mary (Nee: MacFarlane) Howlett. Left with fond and precious memories
are his wife of 65 years Evelyn (Nee: Gooderham), children Stephen
(Mariel) Howlett, Mary Myra, Ruth (Kenny) Keefe, James (Lynn) Howlett,
Heather (Shawn) Russell, grandchildren Kyle, Elizabeth, Olivia,
Nicholas, April, Christina Howlett, Chris Russell, Dylan Keefe and one
great grandson Cohen Howlett, along with a circle of extended family
and friends. He was predeceased by sons in law Ken Myra and
Roger Winters.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ferguson
Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the family will
accept visitors on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm.
A service giving thanks for a life well lived will take place from
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 7,
2017 at 11:00 am, followed by a private family interment in the
Annandale Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make memorial
donations are encouraged to donate to Christian Blind Mission or Heart
and Stroke Association of Prince Edward Island.
