Peacefully, on Thursday, April 27th, surrounded by the love of her family, friends and wonderful caregivers at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Veronica Barbara Patkai (nee Gyarmati) passed from this world to heaven. A life well lived, she leaves behind two sons Louis, and Julius (Jolee); grandchildren  Kristi, Dustin, Evan, Dane (Naomi), and Jace; great-grandson Maddox Gyula.  Predeceased by her husband, Lajos Rudolph Patkai.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Tuesday May, 2nd from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to take place in the Ferguson Logan Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 10:00am. Interment to take place in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the PEI Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
