Peacefully on June 19, 2017, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital with family by her side the passing of Lilianne Shirley Sturgess (nee Larocque), beloved wife of the late David W. Sturgess. Born in Quebec March 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Larocque and Jeanette (Suprenant) Robinson. Lilianne is survived by her loving children, George (Donna) Sturgess, Janet Sturgess, Heather (Ricky) Jamieson; cherished grandchildren, William, Ben, Brandy, Michelle, Josh, Jordan, James; great grandson Dominick; brothers and sisters, Nicole (Andre) Marshessault, Mary (Russell) Nicholson, Denis (Paula) Larocque, Johnny (Betty) Robinson, Lynn (Brian) Rogers, Violet (Scott) Robinson and Jacqueline (Danny) Kinnear; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Louise Buttineau and brother Leo Larocque.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday, June 21st from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 22nd at 10 am. Interment to follow in the Community Park Cemetery. Donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
