Harlan
Monroe James, age 85, of Hastings, Ontario and formerly of Church Road
and St. Peters, PEI, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the
Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Ontario. Born
September 13, 1932 on the Church Road, PEI, he was the son of the late
Charles Albert and Emily (Crane) James. He is survived by his sisters
and brothers, Mary Sanderson, Freda (Heber) Stewart, Ward
(Hattie) James, Vera Murphy, Mabel Brothers, Bruce (Marilyn) James,
Lottie (Ron) Driscoll, Brenda Brindell, Albert (Stephanie) James, all
of PEI; nieces and nephews, Valerie, Roger, Irving, Bonnie,
Alexander, Tracy, Lana, Jeremy, Brian, Terry, Debbie, Barrie, Cheryl,
Shirley, Perry, Patricia, Corinne, Melanie, Ronnie, Byron, Libby; and
numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Marjorie Baxter, brother
Wallace James, and sisters-in-law, Edith James, Annie James,
Margaret James; brothers-in-law, Lewis Sanderson, Reg
Brothers, Murray Hill, Fred Murphy; his nieces and nephews, Golda,
Darlene, Kevin, Broda, Blaine, Herman and two grand nephews.
Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, November 11,
2017 at 2:00 pm from the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel.
Visiting will be from 1:30 to Service time. Interment to take place in
the Midgell Cemetery.
