After a brief illness, Barry Gerard MacDonald, age 65, of Peakes, died on April 12, 2019. He passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with his loving family by his side. Barry was the devoted son of Mary (McInnis) MacDonald and the late Reggie MacDonald. Barry is survived by brothers and sisters, Ian (Corinne), Beverley (Keiver) Read, Cathy (Donnie) Myers, Jo-anne (Gary) Wallace, and Paul. He was predeceased by his father, his sister Sheila and his brother-in-law Ron, and his brothers Everett and Peter. Barry will be remembered fondly by his many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral home. There will be no visitation by personal request. A funeral mass will be held at St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Church, St. Teresa on Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 at 11am. Donations may be directed to the St. Cuthbert’s Cemetery Fund.
