At the Kings
County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Harold Alexander (Sandy)
Dawson age 91, of Vernon River, formerly of Uigg, devoted husband of
67 years to Phyllis (MacLeod) Dawson, occurred on Saturday, March 28,
2020 with family by his side. Born in Charlottetown, April 13, 1928,
son of the late Warren and Marguerite (Cobb) Dawson. Sandy was a proud
lifetime farmer, loving husband, father, grandfather and great
grandfather. Survived by his loving wife Phyllis, children, Hal
(Helen), Gail (Mike) Osborne, Karl (Darlene), Myrna Dawson (Gordie
Hovey) and Lee (Kelly); Grandchildren, Doug, Iris, Denise, Angela,
Ashley, Robbie, Patricia, Steven, Quintin, Tristan, Cassidy; Step
grandchildren Tammy and Jeffrey; Great grandchildren, Rowan, Beth,
Lucas, Robbie, Molly, Justin, Daniel, Garrand, Kimber, Marlin, Haiden,
Dakota, Nyx, Nash, Hayden, Payton, Madison, Ethan, Dax and Devan;
brother-in-law George MacLeod; numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter Gwen. Sisters, Evelyn MacLeod, Frances Jones,
Beatrice Kelly and twin brother John Gordon; grandchild Dennis, great
grandchildren, Gregory and Autumn; mother and father-in-law Bruce and
Myrtle MacLeod.
The family would like to take
this time to thank the Kings County Memorial Hospital for the care and
comfort given to our father.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home 838-2557, where private family
visiting was held. Due to the Covid-19, Service and burial
to take place at a later date.
