Peacefully
at the Saint John Regional Hospital, the passing of Roberta Longard
Cook (nee West) age 83 of Belle River, devoted wife of the late
Charles Cook, occurred on Saturday October 24, 2020 with granddaughter
Tarah Acorn and daughter Emily by her side . Born in Eldon, PE on
January 10, 1937, daughter of the late Roberts and Emily (Millar)
West. Roberta "Bertie" is survived by her loving children,
Emily (Wade) Nicholson, Jim Cook, Frank (Gladys) Cook, Charlotte
(Robert) Acorn and Janice (Darryl) Gamble; brother Miller (Wendy)
West; sisters, Louise Brown and Helen MacDonald; thirteen
grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a son Kenneth Cook, daughter-in-law Ginny Cook, brother
Frederick West, sisters-in-law Dorothy Dewar, Jean MacDonald and Ruby
West, brothers-in-law Albert MacDonald, Ross Brown and step mother
Alice West.
