Squarebriggs, Stirling Albert- Age 88, of Andrews of Stratford, formerly from Westview Drive, Charlottetown, devoted husband of the late Glady (Doyle) Squarebriggs.The death occurred on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown. Born in 1926, Stirling was the son of the late Daniel and Edna (Mulane) Squarebriggs. Stirling was a veteran of WW II. He is survived by his loving children, John (Jane) of Kingston, ON, Allan (Kathie) of Berwick, NS, Robert (Mary Ellen) of Miramichi, NB, Cathy (Kevin) White, of Falmouth, NS, Nora (Rick) Nelson of Stratford, PE; son-in-law Wayne Foy of Truro, NS; cherished grandchildren, Meghan, Adam, Samantha, Amanda, Meagan, Ben, Carrie, and cherished great grandchildren, Octavia, Wylie, Neva, Hailey, Spencer and Ethan; numerous nieces and nephews. Stirling was predeceased by his wife Glady; daughter Cindy Foy and an infant daughter; brothers Reginald, Austin; sisters Nora Squarebriggs and Edith Hornick.

Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE, with visiting hours on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 3:30 pm, from Spring Park United Church, Charlottetown. Interment to take place in People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. St. John’s # 1 Masonic Lodge will hold a service on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
