Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, of Helena
Mae Gallant (Nee Holland), age 79, of Perrins Marina Villa, formerly
of Cardigan Head, devoted wife of 56 years to Gordon Gallant, occurred
on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, with her family by her side. Born in
Souris, PE, on July 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Francis
B. and Mary C. (Cheverie) Holland. Helena is survived by her loving
and caring children Maxine (Steven) MacLennan, Kevin Gallant, Glenn
(Tanya McCarron) Gallant, Beaudah VanWiechen; cherished grandchildren
Kyla Stewart-Maharaj, Jessica MacLeod, Willis VanWiechen, Allee
Gallant, Gracee Gallant, Max VanWiechen, Danielle Stewart and C.J.
Stewart; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers
Howard, Linus and Maurice Holland; sisters Ada Gallant, Mary Sullivan
and Noelle DeCoursey.

Montague Funeral Home, with visitation on Sunday, November 30, 2014,
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday,
December 1, 2014, at 10:30 am, from St. Mary's Catholic Church,
Montague. Interment to take place in All Saints Catholic Cemetery,
Cardigan. Donations to PEI Lung Association would be
appreciated.
With heart felt thanks the family would like to send
appreciation to the doctors and nurses "Our Angels In
Scrubs" for all they did through our difficult times. Also
sincere thanks to Fr. Chaisson and Sr. Elizabeth for their visits at
the hospital and their prayers.
