With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, Blanche Vernice (Colley) Vatcher on Monday, June 25, at Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague, PEI, in her 97th year.

Predeceased by her husband, Austin Reginald, she was the youngest child and last surviving sibling of Ambrose and Violetta. Blanche is survived by her son, Walter (Lorraine) and her daughter, Lynne both of PEI and Faith, sister-in-law of St John’s, NL. She was loved dearly by her grandchildren, Shannon (Samantha), Labrador City, NL and Cindy (Todd), Mt Pearl, NL and her great grandchildren, Emily, Trinity, Logan, Lucas, Eva and Naomi, also special nephew, Robert Martin, Comox, BC and special niece, Lorna Crewe, St John’s, NL and all other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Interment for Blanche and Austin to take place at a later date in St John’s, NL. Words are not able to express our gratitude for the care and commitment shown to our mother by Perrin’s Marina Villa and Kings County Memorial Hospital over the past two years. A special thanks to Dr. Thompson and Dr. Fancy.
