Don
was an avid golfer, who loved his morning crossword, visits to the
nearest Tim’s to socialize and singing. His booming, bass
voice will not be forgotten by those who loved him, including The
Master’s Singers - his Calgary choir cohorts. A man of
words, who loved a good phrase, or quote, Don let his family know,
"Even in the Valley, God is good." The way he loved life and
people is a testament of his faith and daily walk with our Lord and
Saviour, Jesus Christ. He was never afraid to share his faith, but
always sensitive to the hearts of others. His final message, as
written to his (wife) Dear Bet, "I need not say more than, love.
I loved my family that I am leaving, and love the family that I am
going to – May Christ carry us all home. See you in
Heaven."
