At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in  Montague on Sunday, November 11,  2018 the passing of Gerardus (Gary) Lourentius Tesselaar, age 69, beloved husband of Margaret (Mellish) Tesselaar occurred with family by his side. Born in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands, he was the son of the late Gerrit and Cornelia (Stoop) Tesselaar. Gary will be missed by his loving son Robbie (Heather) and daughter Corrie; grandchildren, Victoria, Thomas, Katherine and Harrison Tesselaar, Alexandria and Maddison Wishart. Brothers and sisters Jan (Anneke), Piet (Jos), Sjaak, Louis (Tonny), Liesbeth, Nettie (Piet deceased), Yolanda (Ton) all in Holland. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Carl (Nancy) Mellish of Ontario, Barry (Sandy) Mellish of Nova Scotia and Elizabeth Mellish McCarville of North Carolina.  Besides his parents Gary was predeceased by sister Ria VanGastel, brothers-in-law Luc VanGastel, Piet Luitjes, Lincoln Mellish and sister-in-law Deborah Mellish.


Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Thursday, November 15, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Ferguson Logan Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 16, at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Hillcrest United Church or Southern Kings Hospice would be appreciated.

Funeral Service will be Live Streamed for those who can't make it. There will be a black camera on the left hand side of the obituary. If you open that at 1:50 pm ON Friday, it will open live to the chapel.
