It is with
great sadness that the family of Jack "Jackie" MacLeod
announces his sudden passing at his home on
Sunday,
December 30, 2018 at the age of 80. Born in Lorne Valley he was the
son of the late Angus and Annie (McInnis) MacLeod. Jack will always be
remembered for his sharp wit and his commitment to public preaching of
the gospel and spreading the message, teachings of Jesus with
compassion, touching the lives of the people he preached to. His daily
coffee and chats will be missed by his only surviving family member,
sister Norma Callaghan. Jack will also be missed by his nieces and
nephews, Dale MacLeod, Mark (Marlene) Howlett, Glen (Eloise) Mullins,
Judy (Gerry) MacLeod, Barry (Karen) MacLeod, Donna MacLeod, Susan
Shaw, Annettee Callaghan, Garth (Janice) Callaghan, Wayne (Lynn)
MacLeod. Jack will always be loved and cherished by his
special grand niece Breahanna Callaghan, grand nephews Zechariah and
Gabriel Holland. He was predeceased by his brother Roy (Buddy)
MacLeod; sisters Anna Mullins, Glenda MacLeod; sister-in-law Emma
MacLeod; brothers-in-law Elmer Callaghan, Peter MacLeod, Johnny
Mullins; nieces Diane Bradley, Lynn MacLeod; nephew Brent Callaghan;
great nephews Aaron Coffin and Sean Bradley.

Montague Funeral Home. As per Jack’s request a private
family & friends visitation will be held Tuesday Jan. 8th from
1:30 - 2:30 pm with Funeral Service to be held in the funeral home
chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment to take place in the spring in Lorne
Valley Cemetery. Donations to the PEI Humane Society would be
appreciated.
