Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, the passing of Howard Davies of Eldon, in his 95th year, husband of the late Hazel (MacKenzie) Davies, occurred on Friday evening March 22nd, 2019. Born in Belfast, September 18th, 1924, he was the son of the late George and Janie (Penny) Davies. Howard is survived by his children George (Colleen), Albert (Tracey), Mark (Patricia), Mary Ellen and Glen (Tammy);  Brother to John (Roma) Davies, Marie McGregor, Minnie Blanchard (Nelson), Margaret Weatherbie and Edith Shannon (Sam); Grandfather to Jeremy, Ryan, Megan, Jordan, Rebeca, Cameron, Noah and Sam; Great grandfather to Grayson. Besides his parents, Howard was predeceased by his brothers Lester and George, sister Evelyn and granddaughters Emma and Martha.

Howard is resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with a Legion Tribute at 5:30 pm and public visitations from 6:00 till 8:00 pm on Monday evening March 25, 2019. Funeral Service to be held Tuesday March 26 at 4:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Macphail Woods or Memorial of  choice.

Funeral Service will be Live Streamed for those who can't make it. There will be a black camera on the left hand side of the obituary. If you open that at 3:45 pm on Tuesday, it will open live to the chapel.
