With heavy hearts the sudden passing of Gerald Roy MacDonald age 75, devoted husband of the late Mary Margaret (Barry) MacDonald, occurred on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Kings County Memorial Hospital with family by his side. Born in Souris, November 25, 1945, he was the son of Mary (Banks) MacDonald and the late Howard MacDonald. Survived by children, Stephen MacDonald, Susan (Troy) MacDonald and Jason (DeAnne) MacDonald; sisters and brothers, Lorna (Murdock) Hume, Janet George, Harold (Trudy) MacDonald, Glen MacDonald, Myrna (Donnie) MacDonald and Isabel (Keith) Myers; cherished grandchildren, Morgan (Cora), Brandon (Haley), Madison, Ellie, Casey, Ethan, Austin and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Hughie George and sister-in-law Beatrice MacDonald.  

Gerald will be greatly missed and remembered by all who came to know and love him.

Due to Covid-19, a private family Mass will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery. Online condolences may be made through the Funeral Home website at www.fergusonlogan.com
