With great sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Joel Daniel London, age 31, of Montague. Joel was born June 28, 1990. Cherished son of Pamela (Watson) London and Daniel (Betty) London. Predeceased by brother Jared. Joel will be dearly missed by his loving sister Janelle (Kris) Jackson, grandfather James Watson (Poppy), niece Anna Jackson, as well as his extended family and friends.

Joel was incredibly dedicated in everything he set his mind to. He was an avid learner, always sharing articles and information, taking courses to challenge himself and further his education. He loved to exercise and could often be found at the gym, walking with Poppy, or going for a swim at the beach - no matter the water temperature. He loved to go camping, sit by a bonfire and admire the stars. Joel had a zest for adventure- he had recently taken up scuba diving, loved to drive and care for his prized sports car and his snowmobile, and he was excitedly planning a trip to BC this Fall. This trip filled him with great hope and motivation over the past several months.

Despite being faced with multiple health adversities Joel continued to push forward, overcoming obstacles and setting goals for himself. Joel’s drive and self determination was an inspiration to all who knew him. Although we are deeply saddened that we won’t continue to see him reach his potential, especially during this exciting time in his life- we take great pride in his strength, all he has accomplished, and are comforted by his excitement and happiness.

Joel’s big smile and contagious laugh will be forever remembered by his family, friends, coworkers and all who came to know him. Joel’s family extends their heartfelt thank you to the Nurses and Doctors in Dialysis at the QEH and Souris Hospital.
