Peacefully with family by her side, the passing of Thelma Margaret Fraser (nee Levy) aged 75, loving wife of the late David Roy Fraser occurred on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Riverview Manor. Born in Halifax, NS, February 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Earle and Jessie Catherine (MacPhee) Levy. Survived by her children, Earle (Darlene) Fraser, Amy (Jason) Fraser and Heather (Andrew) Fraser; sister, Donna (Curtis) D’entremont; cherished grandchildren, Matthew (Blair) and Megan, several nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and was predeceased by her sister Nancy (Jim) Stevenson.

Thelma will be greatly missed by her best friend Donna MacDonald at the Riverview Manor. Thelma volunteered much of her time with the MS Society, the Canadian Cancer Society and Girl Guides of Canada. Thelma also won the Medal of Merit, the highest-ranking award Girl Guides has to award. She was very proud of this achievement as it isn’t awarded often.  

Thanks to the Manor Staff, QEH stroke unit and Island EMS for their care and support for Thelma. Donations to any of the above groups will be appreciated.

No visiting by request. A Family Service will take place on Monday, May 16, 2022 in Lower Montague.
