Peacefully with family by her side, we announce the passing of Ruth Kathleen Nelson (nee McKenna) age 98, devoted wife of the late Leland Nelson, occurred on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Born January 1, 1924, daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (MacKenzie) McKenna. Survived by her daughter, Barbara (Keith) Conrad; cherished grandchildren, Jason Conrad, Janice (Steve) Marchbank; adored great grandchildren, Liam and Emersyn Marchbank; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, William and Stewart McKenna; sisters, Margaret Aitken, Katherine Annear; brothers-in-law, Parker Aitken and Harold Annear.  


By request, no visiting hours at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11:00 am, in the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel with live stream. Interment to take place in the Lower Montague Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lower Montague Cemetery or the Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
