CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Friday, August 26, 1:00 p.m.
Roma at Three Rivers National Historic Site
Roma Point, PEI

Friends and relatives of Lou Ann are warmly invited to join the family at Roma Point for a light lunch to celebrate Lou Ann’s life and legacy. The celebratory lunch follows a smaller gathering for the internment of the ashes of both Lou Ann, and her daughter, Hannah Margaret Thomson, at the Brudenell Cemetery.

Lou Ann was born in Charlottetown, the eldest child of the late Alan and Belle (Annabelle McGowan) Nicholson. Lou Ann is survived by her second husband, Joseph Redmond, of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, her son, Scott Thomson, his wife Estelle, and their son Isaiah, of Cow Bay, Nova Scotia, her birth daughter, Gina, and Gina’s daughter, Naomi, of Nova Scotia.

Lou Ann is also remembered by her siblings, her niece, nephews, cousins, and friends. Like many Maritimers, both Lou Ann’s and Hannah’s hearts belonged to the east coast with their deep connections to friends, family, and the beauty of the earth.

(Lou Ann’s full obituary, published earlier, can be found at the website of The Guardian, Charlottetown and The Chronicle Herald, Halifax.)
