Peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the Souris hospital with family by her side, the passing of Bernadette (Bunnie) MacLean age 77, devoted wife of the late Danny MacLean occurred.  Born in Souris, April 30, 1945, daughter of the late Walter and Eileen (Bailey) MacDonald. She is survived by children, Tanya (Mike) Kelly, Geoff (Rosie De Jong) MacLean; cherished grandchildren, Colby, Raelin, Payton, Jaden, Skylar; brother, Kenny MacDonald; sister, Walena (Carl) Doucette; sisters-in-law, Ann MacDonald, Helen MacDonald; special cousins, Freddie (Susan), Melvin (Linda), David (Doris) Cheverie; aunt Rose Cheverie; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Arnold, Melvin, Leonard MacDonald; nephew Arnie MacDonald; sisters-in-law Frances MacDonald & Jean MacDonald; uncle John Cheverie; mother and father-in-law, Howard and Eleanor MacLean.   


Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, August 18, 2022, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Montague at 11:00 am. Interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery.
