At the King County Memorial Hospital, on Monday, November 28, 2022 the passing of Richard Saroles Jackson, beloved husband of the late Joan Jackson (nee Pyke), age 91 of Montague occurred. Born November 12, 1931, in Buffalo, New York. Son of the late Alex and Helen (Hewitt) Jackson. Loving father of Judy (Sandy) Johnston, JoAnn (Vince) Loughran, Marjorie ( Dale Mossman) Jackson and Donna Jackson.

Cherished grandfather of Nicholas Johnston, Troy Ross, Raymond (Carrie Lawlor) Acorn, Jamie (Kara) Acorn, Melissa (Chad) Benz, Jessi MacFarlane, Matthew (Dineaka) MacFarlane, Brendon MacLeod, Sarah Rose MacLeod, Suzie Firth; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

Also survived by brothers, Jimmy Jackson, George ( Josephine) Jackson, Tommy (Debbie) Jackson; sister Hilda (Nick) Dragistic; sister-in-laws Margo Jackson, Clara Pyke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by son Ricky Jackson; grandchildren Jason Hounsell and Jolee Acorn; brothers Edward Jackson, Billy Jackson, Junior Jackson, Joe Jackson; sisters Helen Perrot, Lucille Morrison, Rita Robertson, Gert Bradley; brother-in-laws Ed Perrot, Don Robertson, Leroy Pyke; and sister-in-laws Julie Jackson and Yvonne Jackman.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm, in the Funeral Home Chapel with live streaming. Interment to follow in the Community Park Cemetery.
