Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home the passing of Rhoda Margaret Hayes, age 99, of Charlottetown and formerly Murray Harbour North and Hamilton, ON, wife of the late William Hayes, occurred on January 29, 2023. Born in Murray Harbour North on September 10, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Velma (MacDonald) McClure. Rhoda is survived by her daughter Dawn Hayes; brother Weir (Almira) MacLure; cherished grandchildren Megan Ball (Dave), Heather Ball (Derick), Erin Ball (Ivan); adored great grandchildren Evelyn, Eliot, Maya, Luke, Nate, Rory, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by sister Amanda Johnston, and niece Georgina McPhail.
