At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, with family by her side , the passing of Amy Mae (Hancock) Chapman age 85, of Murray Harbour, loving wife of the late Cecil Chapman occurred on Monday, March 20, 2023. Born in Belle River, June 12, 1937, daughter of the late Chester and Letitia (Cook) Hancock. Survived by children, David (Carolyn), Kenny (Michele), Joye (Sam) MacLeod; cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Kristina, Colin, Alyssa, Janine, Emily, Andrew, Mariah; adored great grandchildren, Reagh, Letitia, Ryker; sisters, Sadie (Ray) Stewart, June (Wayne) Burley; sisters-in-law, Mary Hancock, Gladys Hancock, Frances Hancock, Alice Glover and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Winston Hancock, John Hancock, Cleveland (Miriam), Ivan (Elizabeth), James Hancock, Howard Hancock, and Doris (Leonard) Grierson.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with no visiting hours by personal request. Funeral service will take place on Friday, March 24, 2023 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery at a later date.
