At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, with family by her side, the passing of Anne Vivian Stewart-Hume (nee Hicken), age 88, of Murray Harbour, wife of the late Sterling Hume, occurred on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Born in Alliston, August 4, 1935, daughter of the late Bert and Laura (VanIderstine) Hicken. Survived by children, Valerie Stewart, Pamela Stewart, Heather Stewart; grandchildren, Ben Waterman, Abe Waterman, Asher Waterman; great-grandchildren, River and Zenya Waterman; sister Shirley White. Predeceased by first husband William Stewart; sisters, Lillian Lafferty, Bertha May Hicken; brother Neil Hicken; and brother-in-law Murray White.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 1:00 - 2:45 pm. Funeral Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment to follow in the Murray Harbour Cemetery. A video of the funeral service will be available to view later that evening.
