We, the family of Robert "Rob" Aurele Ethier, are sad to announce that on Sunday, April 28th at Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge, Belfast, Rob peacefully passed away after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Rob was born in Hamilton, ON. on June 9th, 1954, the son of Aurele and Shirley. In 1976 he moved to beautiful Glenwilliam, PEI and there was no place he loved more.

Rob is survived by his children; Ivy (Kerry), Sarah (Bill), Larry (Ashley), his sister Gail (David), brother Dave (Corinne), his grandchildren Calvin, Lawson and Felix and his ex-wife, and lifelong friend, Rose Marie.

His family asks all who remember him to play a John Prine song in his memory.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for July.
