Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Alicia "Mae" (MacLeod) Irving, age 93, loving wife of the late Chessel Irving, occurred on Sunday, July 12, 2026, with family by her side. Born in Cambridge, PE on March 24, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Daisy (Higginbotham) MacLeod. Mae is survived by her children Tammy (Steven) MacLeod, Vicki (Hal) Publicover, Nathan (Michelle) Irving; grandchildren Bobby (Justine), Becky (Duane), Alicia (Sean), Kayla (Chris), Emma, Keldan; great grandchildren Bennett, Arleigh, Brooklyn, Halle, Walker, Benson, Braeden; sisters-in-law Trudy MacLeod, and Margaret Irving.

Predeceased by siblings Archie, Janie, Albert, Howard, Roy, and Harry.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 12 pm to 1 pm. Funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 pm.

Interment to take place afterwards in the Murray Harbour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kings County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Fund, or the  Montague Home Care Equipment Fund.
