It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lauretta (Burke) Landry on July 13, 2026 at the Moncton Hospital. Lauretta passed away at the age of 66 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Charlottetown, PEI, on February 13, 1960, Lauretta was the daughter of the late Cecilia Winnifred (Clarkin) and William Joseph Burke

Lauretta loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was born and raised in PEI and always held a special place in her heart for the Island. Lauretta enjoyed toast and a good cup of tea, reading books, crafting and flowers. She greatly enjoyed summertime, going camping and playing a good card game. Lauretta will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Lauretta will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Billy Landry; her son, Ryan (Renelle) Landry; her daughter, Megan (Derek) Brun; her brothers, Anthony Burke and Cecil (Doreen) Burke; her sister, Hilda Burke; her grandchildren, Emilie, Spencer, Miguel, Milo and Finn; her brothers-in-law, her sisters-in-law, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, Lauretta was pre-deceased by her three brothers, as well as by her three sisters.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and the staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. A graveside service will take place in the St. James Catholic Cemetery, Georgetown, PEI on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 2 pm and all are invited to attend.
