Peacefully at the Garden Home, Charlottetown on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 the passing of P. Gordon Matheson occurred. Born May 30, 1933 in Milltown Cross, he was a son of the late Malcolm and Annie (MacKinnon) Matheson. Gordon is survived by his loving son Brian (Tracey); daughter Carol-Ann Houghton; grandchildren Justin, Sydney, Owen, Matthew, Derek, Kyle; 7 great grandchildren; brothers John (Lois), Malcolm (Vaunda); sisters Marjorie (Donnie), Margaret (Gordon); brothers-in-law Neil Brydon, Irving MacKay; sisters-in-law Emily, Mary; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son Gregory Matheson, daughter Wendy Matheson; sisters Mary Brydon, Christine Matheson, Catherine MacKay, brothers Lloyd MacKinnon, George, Hector and Earl Matheson; brother-in-law Donnie Carmichael.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral home from where a private family visiting and Service will take place. Interment to take place in the Valleyfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers denotations to the Valleyfield Cemetery would be appreciated.
