The death occurred suddenly on December 8, 2021 at the Gillis Lodge Nursing Home of Gordon Lane, aged 74 years. Survived by his two daughters: Lois Anne Lane, and Deborah Jean Lane (Courtney), 5 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild. He was the only child of the late Lodge and Jean (Saunders) Lane. Born and brought up and lived most of his life in Mount Mellick and Charlottetown. Gordon will also be lovingly remembered by his cousins: Dorothy Bird-Drewett and Rev. Doreen Bird-Daley.

Resting at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with a graveside service to be held at the Pownal United Church Cemetery on December 9th at 2 p.m.
