At home in Gaspereaux with family by his side the passing of Newman Steele age 74 loving and devoted husband of 46 years to Debby Steele (nee Willard), occurred on Friday, February 3, 2023. Born in Montague, July 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Howard and Laura (Steel) Steele. Survived by children, Howard Steele, Lindsay (Jason Campbell) Steele; brothers and sister, Lawrence (Mary) Steele , Betty (Larry) Condon, Jimmy Steele; cherished grandchildren, Leah, Clem, Emmett, brothers, sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother John and sister Rita.
