With family and caring nurses at his side and a host of loved
ones and communities holding him in their thoughts and prayers, we
sadly announce the death of William Kenneth Campbell, age 44 of
Stratford, PEI and formerly of Montague, PEI on Monday, July 24th,
2023 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.
Beloved son of Ken and Pauline Campbell, and Beth
Brehaut. Besides his parents, William will be deeply missed
and remembered by his little sister, Laurie Campbell (Sylvain LeMieux)
of Calgary, Alberta; nieces Olivia and Zoey; nephew Hendrix and many
aunts, uncles and cousins.
William loved his
work as a screening officer at the Charlottetown Airport. He was
tremendously grateful for the caring efforts of many of his colleagues
and friends whose generosity of spirit allowed William to continue
working after his diagnosis of cancer. He was blessed to
have very close friends who immediately upon hearing of his diagnosis,
rallied together and made sure that he knew he was not alone, was much
appreciated and could continue to have fun and allow his special brand
of sense of humour to shine through until the end. William loved all
sports, was an avid college basketball fan - especially of the North
Carolina Tar Heels - and regularly took vacation in March so he
wouldn’t miss a game during March Madness.
