Peacefully at home in Murray River, the passing of Elva Minnie Bell in her 92nd year, devoted wife of the late Gavin Bell Jr., occurred on Friday, August 25, 2023. Born in Murray Harbour, November 22, 1931, daughter of the late Peter and Minnie (Beck) White. Survived by children, Theressa Ann Livingstone, Gregory Wade (Laurie) Bell; sister, June Nicolle; sister-in-law, Betty Lou Glover; cherished grandchildren, Dean (Shannon) Livingstone, Arlene (Shane) MacIsaac, Cynthia (Craig) Campbell, Bradley (Megan) Bell, Matthew (Maddy) Bell, Crystal (Jason) Burrows; adored great grandchildren, Janeil Livingstone, Jori Livingstone, Daniel MacIsaac, Sarah MacIsaac, Ben MacIsaac, Porter Campbell, Emmett Bell, Keira Bell, Gavin Burrows, Alexandra Burrows; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter’s, Sheila Arlene Macleod, infant daughter; sister, Phyllis Herring; brother’s, Nathan White, Fred White, Lloyd White, Lester White; sons-in-law David MacLeod, Kenny Livingstone.  


Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral home, with visiting on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 1:00 PM, Murray Harbour Church of Christ. Interment to follow in the Murray Harbour Cemetery. Donations to the Murray Harbour Cemetery would be appreciated.
