On Sunday, October 8, 2023, the passing of Edith Eleanor Gorrill, Age 70, occurred at her home in Montague. Loving partner of the late Jimmy Hayter. Born in O’Leary, June 24, 1953, daughter of the late Lyman and Mildred (Adams) Gorrill. Survived by children Jerry Lyons, Charlene (Jamie) Hayter, Steven (Jeanie) Hayter; grandchildren Wyatt, Addyson; brothers Emerson Gorrill, David (Joan) Gorrill, Allison Gorrill; nieces Amanda, Rolanda, Heidi; and nephew Aaron. Predeceased by sister Evelyn MacLure and sister-in-law Lori Gorrill.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 1 to 4 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm, at the Emmanuel Bible Chapel, on the Queens Road, Montague. Interment to follow in the Murray River Cemetery.
