Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Blaine Kerr, age 82, of Montague, occurred on Monday, November 13, 2023, beloved husband of Lydia Chaulk. Born in Montague on March 23, 1941, son of the late Sidney and Mary (Mae) Kerr. Predeceased by his sister Ethel Knox, brother in-law James Knox; father and mother-in-law Ralph and Ada Chaulk, brother in law Richard Lillington, and sister-in-law Cedella Enwood. He is survived by his wife Lydia, brothers-in-law Melvin Chaulk (Bertha), Calvin Chaulk (Norma), Angus Enwood; sister-in-law Vera Lillington, as well as many nieces and nephews. Blaine spent 30 years at sea as a Marine Engineer. During his career, he sailed with Marine Atlantic and Northumberland Ferries Ltd. He was a knowledgeable person who always had time for chatting with friends and family.
