The death occurred peacefully at the Riverview Manor on June 3, 2024 of Florence MacMaster (Gillis), daughter of Wallace and Margaret Gillis (MacKinnon). Florence was the loving mother of eleven children, Ilene Ronaghan (Cletus), Boyd (Cindy), Lynn Mullins (Robbie), Lyla Martell (Jerry), Edna MacMaster, Evelyn Trainor (John), Stuart (Melissa) and Howard. Florence was predeceased by her daughters Bertha, Audrey and Carol; her parents; sister Ida; brother Norman and sister Jesse. She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren Lydia, Desiree, Darryl, Cameron, Suzanne, Russell, Ada, Trevor, Darcy, Wallace, Olivia, Benny, Jeff, Howie, Jewel, Blake, Stewie, Lacey, Faith, Hope and her twenty three great grandchildren.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with Visiting hours on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 6 to 9pm. Funeral service to be held from the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11am, with live streaming. Interment to follow in the Dundas Community Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
