It is with sadness in our hearts that we, the family of George Alfred Jackson 82 announce the peaceful passing with family by his side at the KCMH. Devoted husband of 48 years to Josephine (Bourgeois) Jackson. Born in Cape Breton, NS, son of the late Capt. Alex and Helen (Hewitt) Jackson. Survived by children, Lisa Jackson (Eddie Burris), Wanda Woodgate (Philip Griffin), Robert Jackson (Kim Warr), Laura Stewart (James Stewart); brothers, Jimmy, Tommy (Debbie); sister Hilda Dragisc (Nick); cherished grandchildren, Jordan McMurrer, Alex (Grace) Jackson, Destiny Jackson, Jackson Woodgate, Roman Stewart, Quinn Stewart, Hudson Dumville, Zachary Griffin, Ashley Coles, A.J. Coles; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Billy Jackson, Junior Jackson, Joe Jackson, Helen Perrot, Lucille Morrison, Rita Robertson, Gert Bradley, Edward Jackson, Richard Jackson; grandchildren, (twins) Justin and Julianna and Izaak Woodgate.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Service to be held at St Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Donations to the St. Mary's Cemetery Fund, Montague would be appreciated.

Knights Of Columbus will hold a Prayer Service for Brother George Jackson, Friday 4:30 pm.
