Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, the passing of Eunice Marie McGillivray (nee Morrison), age 80, of Belfast, occurred on Sunday, September 14, 2025, with family by her side.  Beloved wife of Francis McGillivray. Born in Launching, PE, March 28, 1945, daughter of the late John and Anna (MacLellan) Morrison. Survived by daughters Darlene Hughes, Cathy (Douglas) MacKenzie; step-children, Kathy Ann (Sheldon) Peters, Frank (Cara) McGillivray, Janie (Rupert) Glover, Billy (Denise) McGillivray; adored grandchildren Christopher, Melissa (Andy), Cameron, Carson, Michaela, Kara (Nicco), Kelson; step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; step great grandchildren; siblings Frank (Heather) Morrison, Claire (Joe) McCarron, Pat Morrison, Laura Clarkson; several nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by first husband Cecil Hughes; brother Charles (Jean) Morrison; sister Margaret (Richard) MacInnis, and cherished granddaughter, Faith.

Eunice was known for her kindness and care to all those who knew her and many called her "mom" because of her nurturing nature. She will be deeply missed.

Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home. No visitation by personal request. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 19, 2025, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Sturgeon. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
